What we do
We tell Midwest stories in new and unexpected ways, and we build a community around them.
That part comes naturally. The middle has always been good at belonging, partly because there's not a lot else to do in February.
You can see it best in sports. Here, a team isn't just something you watch. It's something you're born into, with a loyalty passed down through families that outlasts every losing season and, frankly, all reason. As former athletes and lifelong fans ourselves, we know what a home crowd can do, and we knew that was the place to start.
That's why we're making Midwestern sports stories nobody has told before, from baseball to hockey to soccer. Not the usual highlight reels or locker-room documentaries, but unconventional narratives, often from the point of view of the fans themselves: the people in the stands, the families who pass a team down and the towns that rise and fall with every season. Add a deep bench of original Midwest stories and creative talent, and we can bring these stories to the screen, from the intimate to the epic. They're stories that travel, because the particular is the passport and belonging needs no subtitles.
Our mission
Our mission is to work with top talent to rewrite the story of the Midwest and to rethink what a premium, popular sports story can be.

We don't plan on telling it alone. Sports proved something we already knew: people come back not for what they're watching, but for who they're watching it with. A hit fades after a season, but a community lasts.
Every team knows it's easier to win at home, where you know the ground, the crowd is behind you and the place is part of who you are. For too long, the middle of the country was treated as somewhere to pass through. Flyover country was never empty, though. You just had to land the plane and stay a while. (Bring a jacket.) For us, it's home, and that's our home field advantage.
So pull up a chair. We're making the kind of stories you settle in for, the ones you come back to, pass down and don't want to end, and we're putting together a team to make them.
Tryouts are open. The bar is high. The beer is cold. Come on in.
